Bought this for my 10-year-old to try stunt scooting and the balance is spot on straight out of the box. The German engineering really shows in how smoothly the wheels roll and how little wobble there is. He landed his first trick within a week.
The deck feels solid under my feet and the whole thing is light enough to carry to the park one-handed. I'm 34 and just learning to ride, and it hasn't buckled once while I fumble my way through basic hops.
Bought this for my 9-year-old to try his first tricks and the deck feels solid without being too heavy for him to lift. The steering is smooth right out of the box and he was rolling around confidently within an hour.
