Was worried the side orientation would trip me up, but this left shank fits exactly as described once I pictured myself standing on the board looking down. The holes lined up perfectly with the frame, no drilling or filing needed. Back to riding the same afternoon.
Snapped this on in about two minutes with just an Allen key, and the side orientation matches the original perfectly. Fit is snug with zero wobble on the steering column.
The left shank slid right onto my Monster Kickboard and the holes lined up perfectly, which was my main worry since it's a side-specific part. Fit is snug with no wobble after a few rides.
