Accidents happen, but fortunately, there’s an easy fix for a damaged frame. A new hard plastic spine will get your scooter rolling again.

To install:

  1. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the eight black screws on the underside of the scooter.
  2. Remove the colored deck from the black frame, lifting up from the rear end of the scooter first.
  3. Remove brake screws (on silver square directly behind brake).
  4. Use Allen key to remove bolt from rear wheel, then remove wheel.
  5. Use Allen key to remove bolt from front wheels, then remove wheels.
  6. Use 9/32 or 7mm ratchet to remove steering link screw and washer in crossbar.
  7. Use Phillips-head screwdriver to remove small screws on reinforcement plate and larger screws on b-bend cover plate.
  8. Remove b-bend wires.
  9. Use Allen key to unfasten bolt in chassis and remove bolt and washer.

Repeat steps 9-1 in reverse order to attach new chassis.

Wasn't sure a plastic spine would hold up, but this replacement has survived two weeks of daily curb hopping. The eight screw holes lined up perfectly with my old frame, so the swap took maybe ten minutes with a Phillips-head. Honestly can't tell it apart from the original.

Joseph ★★★★★

After my son cracked the original frame doing jumps, this replacement popped right on with just a Phillips-head screwdriver and eight screws. The hard plastic spine feels solid and the scooter rides like nothing ever happened.

Brian ★★★★★

The hard plastic spine feels way sturdier than the original frame that cracked. Eight screws with a Phillips-head and it was back on the scooter in ten minutes. My kid's ride is rolling again, and honestly it fits like it came from the factory.
